At 19 years old, Sophie has written close to 600 songs, collaborated with some of the top writers and producers in pop music, and is currently signed to a publishing joint venture between hit songwriter Ester Dean and Prescription Songs.
Ever since Sophie was young, singing and performing have been a part of her. She began writing songs at age 9, inspired by Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. She began performing at local events in Calabasas, CA and participated in her community's theater program. Sophie started homeschooling at age 10 to fully focus on music and graduated high school at the age of 14. She is currently enrolled in college part time, but continues to spend most of her time working on music.
Since signing her publishing deal at age 14, Sophie’s main focus has been writing songs for other artists. In 2017, Sophie decided to shift her focus to her own artist project with releases “Limitless,” “Wavy," and “Two Young Lovers."
Sophie's debut single "Two Young Lovers" which she wrote and produced by herself and released independently was released on October 20th, 2017 and was featured on Spotify's New Music Friday playlist. The song was streamed over 50,000 times on its first day. In December, Taylor Swift added it to her favorite songs playlist on Apple Music, Spotify and more.
Sophie’s song “Limitless” with Sam F has amassed over 10 million streams across all platforms and was featured in the Samsung Galaxy S8 campaign airing on all major networks. “Limitless” reached #9 on the Billboard Dance Mix Show/Airplay Chart and #2 on Dance Radio.
Sophie’s latest single “Best Friend” which she wrote and produced by herself was featured on 18 of Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists across the world and was streamed over 100,000 times on its first day.
Sophie’s songs “Wavy,” “Time Machine,” “Run Away,” “Pink Lipstick,” “Famous,” “Lift You Up,” and “Favorite Thing” have amassed tens of millions of streams.
"Aces High," a song co-written by Sophie, aired on Fox's Empire in December 2016.
Sophie’s song “Attention” is the theme song for the AwesomenessTV original series Guidance, airing on Hulu.
Sophie's song "Friends Forever" was licensed by MasterCard for their Stand Up To Cancer campaign that aired during the 2015 and 2016 Major League Baseball season on ESPN.
Sophie is using her talents to help others by supporting charitable causes including ACT Autism Care and Treatment, Firefly Autism and Girls Rock SB. Sophie co-wrote a song called "Firefly" to empower children with autism.
